Chitosan, from Chitin, is a high density, natural polymer. It has the ability to absorb oil as much as ten to fifteen times its own weight. When taken with meals, it absorbs fat and prevents its absorption. This product is especially recommended for patients who ingest excessive fatty foods and/or have high cholesterol levels.

Chitosan is manufactured to strict GMP standards. It does not contain artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, preservatives, chemical additives, wheat, yeast or animal derivatives. The cellulase is derived from plant sources.

Suggested dose for adults: 1-2 capsules per day with meal or as directed by your health care practitioner.
