MOD-IMMUN is a combination of naturally occurring plant phytosterols and phytosterolins at concentrations much higher than that normally found in nature. These compounds have been shown to significantly boost the immune system in a very selective fashion. Clinical studies have shown that Phytosterols are useful in the lowering high blood cholesterol, treating psoriasis, eczema and many different autoimmune diseases. Phytosterols and phytosterolins have been shown to boost the immune system and has shown promise in the treatment of AIDS. There have been anecdotal reports that phytosterols and phytosterolins have been effective in treating prostate cancer, liver diseases such as hepatatis C and seasonal allergies. In the laboratory, phytosterols and phytosterolins have been shown to increase the number of T-cells as well as increase T-cell function. They have also been shown to inhibit the proliferation of colon and breast cancer cells. Since phytosterols and phytosterolins are found in many of the foods we normally consume e.g. soy beans, vegetable oils they are quite safe.

Suggested dose for adults: 1 capsule twice daily on an empty stomach.

Caution: Individuals who have had transplants or whose immune system is deliberately suppressed should avoid taking MOD-IMMUN.
