HEALTHY COLON PLUS

The colon is at the end of the Gut.  It is the organ from which much of the body's waste products are excreted.  Many of the toxins are generated by the body itself but a large quantity is derived from the microbiological flora that live in the colon and also from the environment.  

Normally the body can tolerate a certain amount of toxins without leading to ill health.  However, during times of stress, the ability of the body to tolerate toxins decreases and this can lead to ill health which can further decrease the body's tolerance of toxins.  

Healthy Colon Plus was formulated in order to: 
(1) Decrease the toxin load by: 

(a) providing 4 different types of good bacteria to the body in order to promote the growth of good bacteria; 

(b) using a mixture of plant fibres that provide both soluble and insoluble fibre; 

Soluble fibre can bind to toxins from the environment and also from the "bad bacteria" and prevent their absorption into the body.  The insolube fiber has a cleaning action on the colon walls.  The fibre also decreases the length of time that waste products stay in the colon, thus also leading to a decrease in the total amount of
toxins absorbed. 

(3) Provide the herbs slippery elm and marshmallow root
which can act as a preventative to inhibit the flare ups of irritable bowel, Chrons and Inflammatory bowel disease. 

In general many studies have shown that a diet high in fibre can lead to a lowering of blood cholesterol levels and also of blood sugar.  Used on a daily basis, Healthy Colon Plus will promote a healthy colon and also a healthier body.

In addition, Healthy Colon Plus can be used as a colon cleanser by increasing the dosage for a three (3) day period.
